Fallen Hydro Pole Shuts Down Chesswood Drive

A fallen hydro pole has shut down Chesswood Drive between Finch Avenue and Vanley Crescent.
The road will likely remain closed until late afternoon on Monday as police investigate.
Officers believe a driver crashed into the hydro pole around 3:15am, then fled the scene on foot.
While the road was closed, the power stayed on in the area.
Toronto Hydro is attempting to fix the wires.
