Woman Critically Injured By Snowplow, Man Charged

Police arrested a snowplow driver on Wednesday after a woman was critically injured in the city’s east end.
Officers say the accused was behind the wheel of a white Ford truck, plowing a lot on Bartley Drive. He allegedly struck the woman as he was reversing.
It happened around 9am, near Eglinton and Victoria Park avenues.
The 52-year-old woman was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital. Her injuries are now considered life-threatening.
Konstantinos Soukoulis, 28, is charged with:
- Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm
- Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident Causing Bodily Harm.
