Street Beat – February 4 – Man Assaulted In Markham

York Regional Police are investigating after a man was seriously injured in Markham.
Emergency crews were called to Timbers Circle around 3:20am on Friday.
Police say the victim’s girlfriend found him lying in the middle of the road.
Initially, the 31-year-old man appeared to have been beaten.
Now, police say he may have been hit by a car.
The victim was rushed to hospital, where he remains.
The investigation is ongoing,
