Italy’s prime minister has been ordered to stand trial in a prostitution probe.
Silvio Berlusconi, 74, allegedly paid a 17-year-old girl for sex and then tried to cover it up.
He has denied the charges. The girl in question also denies they had sex, but says Berlusconi gave her cash and jewelry.
Judge Judge Cristina Di Censo handed down the indictment Tuesday and the trial is set to begin April 6.
