Toronto hits #4 on Economist ranking of livable cities

We’re number four! We’re number four!

The Economist magazine has ranked Toronto fourth in its annual list of the world’s most livable cities. The number-one spot was occupied by a fellow Canadian city, Vancouver.

We barely edged out Calgary, which came in fifth.

The rankings look at five key areas: stability, health care, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure.

At the bottom of the 140-place list is Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe.
