Serious industrial incident in Kitchener

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after an industrial incident in Kitchener.
Initial reports indicate he was trapped under a slab of concrete at a construction site on Belmont Avenue. A crane was hoisting the slab off of a flatbed tractor trailer when it apparently slipped.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
