Police need help identifying woman struck and killed by car in Markham

Police are asking for help identifying a woman who struck and killed by a car in Markham.
The fatal accident happened just after 8:30 p.m. Monday on Markham Road, just north of Steeles Avenue, when a northbound Hyundai Sonata hit a woman who was crossing.
The victim was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. She wasn’t carrying ID and authorities have released a description in an effort to find out who she is and contact her family.
She’s described as:
-Asian
-about 50 to 60-years-old
-petite
-black hair
The woman had glasses and was wearing a red faux fur coat and a red down-filled vest underneath.
