York Regional police have allegedly found a marijuana grow-op worth $1 million in Markham.
Officers were called to the home on Saffron Street, near 9th Line and Bur Oak Avenue, on Thursday afternoon.
Over 1,400 plants were discovered inside. Officers also said someone had tampered with the house’s electrical wring, making for an extra fire hazard.
Cam Tieu, 35, was arrested and charged with production of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and theft of electricity.
