York Regional police arrested two men early on Friday morning after an attempted break-in at a Vaughan cell phone store.
The thieves allegedly targeted a Bell Mobility store on Highway 7, west of Weston Road, around 3:45 a.m. As they drove away from the scene, they allegedly crashed into a cruiser.
A third suspect was able to escape.
Police say he called friends for help after he cut his leg. His friends allegedly drove him to a nearby Esso gas station at Steeles and Signal Hill avenues. Officers are looking for anyone who saw a silver or grey van with four or five men inside at the gas station on Friday.
