Dogs allegedly shot to death near Oshawa, man charged

A 25-year-old man is facing charges after four dogs were found dead on a property near Oshawa over the weekend.

Durham Police allegedly found the dead animals at a home on Taunton Road in Clarington on Sunday. Seven Husky puppies and an adult dog were also removed from the property and taken to a shelter.

Authorities went to the home after receiving a call about dogs being shot. Durham Police said a rifle and other items were seized from the home.

Joe Tucker is charged with with killing animals and careless storage and use of a firearm.
