Hugh Jackman bringing his one-man show to Toronto

Hugh Jackman shot “X-Men” in Toronto more than a decade ago and the Aussie actor is back preparing to open his one-man show at the Princess of Wales Theatre.
“Hugh Jackman in Concert”, which features the boy from Oz performing some of his favourite song and dance numbers backed by an 18-piece orchestra, will run July 5 – 17.
“I know from being here that this is a theatre town. It’s a very sophisticated town,” the Tony-award winner said.
“My sole purpose for doing this show is, I thought, I want to create a show where I can’t wait to do it or I just have the time of my life.”
The show comes to Toronto off a sold-out debut in San Francisco where it earned rave reviews.
