Police hunting for suspects after rental vehicle carjacked

Toronto police are busy searching for three suspects after a rental car was carjacked in the city’s west end Saturday night.
Police say the trio, two of whom were carrying guns, stole a Dodge Magnum in the Jane and Sheppard area shortly after 10 p.m.
Officers tried to pull the car over just before 1 a.m., but the suspects jumped out and took off on foot.
K-9 units searched the area, but the search turned up empty.
