Harry Potter and all the Hogwarts gang will soon have a new home – online.
Author J.K. Rowling announced a new online experience called “Pottermore” for fans of her Harry Potter books Thursday.
The site will feature new information on characters and storylines, illustrations and interactive “moments.”
Rowling announced the new venture via video on her website and says even though the final seventh book in the immensely popular series is complete, there are still more juicy secrets to come for Potter fans.
“I’ll be joining in too, because I will be sharing additional information I’ve been hoarding for years about the world of Harry Potter.”
Rowling is said to have pages and pages of handwritten notes of background on every Potter character.
The Pottermore website will also exclusively sell all seven of the Harry Potter eBooks.
The site, which is free, is set to open in October.
