Police warn of prowler in Eglinton West area

Police are warning residents in and around the Eglinton West neighbourhood about an active prowler and potential sex offender.
A number of break-ins have been reported in ground level units in low-rise apartment buildings with female residents in an area bounded by Eglinton Avenue West to the south; Lawrence Avenue West to the north; Allen Road to the west and Bathurst Street to the east.
Luckily, no one has been home at the time of his break-ins, but police are concerned with the suspect’s apparent behaviour.
“Once inside there appears to be indication of actions of a sexual nature,” revealed Det. Brandon Price.
“I would encourage all residents, particularly female residents, to ensure all their doors and windows are locked and secured.”
So far, no suspect description is available.
