Trouble at all-ages party lands 5 teens in hospital

Police and paramedics were called to the Guvernment nightclub Wednesday night to deal with trouble at an all-ages party.

A 17-year-old boy was rushed to hospital around 11 p.m. after he was stabbed in the chest and back outside the nightclub on Queens Quay at Jarvis Street. His wounds aren’t life-threatening, and so far, there have been no arrests.

About an hour earlier, six teens, all around 16-years-old, were found intoxicated. One teen was found inside the club and the rest were passed out in a nearby bus shelter.

Four of the kids were taken to hospital — two of them unconscious — and they’re all expected to recover.
