Duchess of Cambridge wears outfit with Canuck flare at Canada Day celebrations

The Duchess of Cambridge always earns high marks for fashion and she earned extra points with Canucks on Canada Day.

Kate arrived at the Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, Que. Friday morning in an outfit with a distinctive Canadian flare. Her dress and hat were from U.K. labels — a cream dress from Reiss and a topper from Sylvia Fletcher at Lock and Co.

The cream dress was the same one she wore in her engagement photo.

Her hat was a rich red adorned with maple leaves. She also carried a red clutch and wore red heels.

And she added an extra Canuck touch, wearing the Queen’s Maple Leaf brooch.

Kate donned a Canadian label — Smythe — as she boarded the plane in England that carried the royal couple to Canada. The duchess wore the Canadian-designed one-button blazer.
