Overnight closures on the Gardiner Expressway this week

Annual maintenance will close a section of the Gardiner Expressway this week.
Crews will be working on the eastbound lanes between the Humber River and the Spadina off-ramp. That section will be off-limits between 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Monday and Tuesday. A similar closure is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday next week, as well.
And the westbound lanes will be closed overnight Wednesday and Thursday between 10 p.m. and 5: 30 p.m.
And on Highway 427, extreme hot weather apparently caused damage to the road prompting the OPP to close the north and soutbound ramps to the Highway 407 around 6 a.m. Monday.
Both ramps were reopened by the end of the morning rush.
