The CN Tower’s EdgeWalk opens to the public Monday, but Toronto’s latest attraction is not for the faint of heart or light of wallet.
Thrill seekers can get the best view of the city from a 356 metre-high ledge. That’s 116 storeys above the ground.
It costs $175 to strap in for an open-air walk along the 1.5-metre platform that runs along the tower’s highest pod. The entire experience will run 1.5 hours, with the walk itself lasting between 20 to 30 minutes.
Up to eight people can make the hands-free trip at the same time, supported by a harness and pulley attached to an overhead rail.
CityNews’ Francis D’Souza suited up for the thrilling experience on Thursday.
