An expected drop in gas prices at one Scarborough station has customers smiling.
“Amazing. I can’t wait to see that,” driver Leonard Ejike said Thursday.
Patrons of the Tru-Value Gas Bar on Warden Avenue just north of Eglinton Avenue will see a discount of 50 cents a litre when they fill up the tank on Friday.
The promotion is for a new online travel agency and does not apply to propane or diesel. The sale starts at 8 a.m. and will last until 20,000 litres are sold.
“When you buy a flight on FlightNetwork.com, if the price drops the next day or any time after, we’ll give you a credit for the difference,” spokesperson Jamil Al Jabri explained.
