A group of 34 employees of an extended-care facility in Scarborough picked up their $15-million Lotto Max cheque on Friday.
The presentation took place at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Prize Centre near Yonge and Dundas streets around 11:30 a.m.
Each person will get about $440,000 from Friday’s jackpot.
“We’re satisfied,” a few of the winners told reporters. “We’re really happy.”
The group, which works at the Seven Oaks old-age home, has been playing together since January.
They also won about $6,400 with another ticket for the same draw.
