Toronto man facing several child porn charges

Toronto police have charged a man with several child pornography offences.

Steven Lloyd, 41, was charged with two counts of possessing child pornography, two counts of distributing it and one count of accessing child pornography. He was arrested Wednesday after officers executed a search warrant at a downtown condo.

Lloyd was scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning. Police are asking anyone with information on the suspect to contact them.

On the same day Lloyd was arrested, a Courtice, Ont., man was nabbed by police on similar allegations.

In that case, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Firwood Avenue and seized a computer and storage devices that allegedly contained images of child sexual abuse.

Authorities claim the 54-year-old man shared movies showing children being abused online.

Robert James Standen has been charged with making child pornography available and possessing child pornography. He is being held for a bail hearing.
