Cubs agree to terms with 7th-round pick Trevor Gretzky, son of Wayne Gretzky

ATLANTA – The Chicago Cubs have agreed to terms with the son of hockey great Wayne Gretzky.
Trevor Gretzky was the Cubs’ seventh-round pick out of Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, Calif., at June’s amateur draft.
The six-foot-four first baseman had signed to play at San Diego State but instead will start his professional career with the Cubs.
Cubs spokesman Peter Chase said Friday the team hasn’t decided where Gretzky will begin his minor league career.
