In the past three provincial elections, voters in Thornhill have turfed the incumbent.
Conservative MPP Peter Shurman is hoping that will change when Ontario goes to the polls on Oct. 6.
Shurman says he knows what voters are most concerned about.
“A huge issue in Thornhill is gridlock,” said Shurman, who’s held the riding since 2007.
Sherman is running against Liberal Bernie Farber, NDP Cindy Hackelberg, Green Stephanie Duncan, Libertarian Gene Balfour, and Freedom Party Erin Gorman.
