ThisFish, a new smart phone application, promises to make responsible eating easier, by showing shoppers just where their fish and seafood comes from.
“Food is important to me and I want to know where it comes from,” one shopper said.
David Smith, the vice-president of sustainability at Sobey’s, says customers can learn everything about their seafood, including when and where it was caught, how fresh it is – and even the name of fisherman.
