Police release sketch of sex assault suspect

Toronto police have released a composite sketch of a man accused of sexually assaulting the same woman multiple times.

Police allege the suspect began to follow a woman near Dundas Street and Runnymede Road just before midnight on Thursday.

He allegedly grabbed the woman from behind, pushed her into a nearby laneway and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as white, five-foot-seven, 20-30 years old, with short, light brown hair. He has a large faded tattoo of a black insect, possibly a scorpion or a spider, on his neck.

The man is reported to have also followed the victim on Sept.3 and 6, and to have sexually assaulted her on Sept. 12.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
