Crosby will sit out next 2 games after Monday

The Pittsburgh Penguins say Sidney Crosby will sit out the next two games as a precaution after suffering a hit Monday night against Boston.

Penguins GM Ray Shero says Crosby “wasn’t feeling 100 per cent.”

A concussion test showed no problems but Pittsburgh decided to rest its captain.

Crosby has 12 points in eight games since returning from a concussion that had kept him out since January.

The Penguins play at Philadelphia on Thursday and at the New York Islanders on Saturday.
