Mayor Rob Ford will hold Toronto’s annual New Year’s day levee on Jan. 2 – and he’s not the only mayor breaking with tradition.
In Oakville, the levee will be held on Jan. 8.
In the past, the New Year’s celebration has taken place on the first day of the new year, Jan. 1.
Mississauga, Brampton, and Pickering will all celebrate on Jan 1.
Toronto’s event will run in the City Hall Rotunda from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
