Firefighters knock down 2-alarm blaze at Brampton house

Two firefighters were hurt while putting out a two-alarm house fire in Brampton Saturday.
The flames apparently started in the laundry room at 45 Summerfield Cres., near Bovaird Drive West and Royal Orchard Drive, around 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officials say the occupants got out of the home safely and weren’t hurt.
Two firefighters were taken to hospital. One suffered burns and the second was injured in a fall.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known. The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office is investigating.
