Canada-wide arrest warrant for violent convict who disappeared in Toronto

Police are trying to track down a federal offender with a lengthy criminal record and a history of violence who reportedly walked away from a Toronto halfway house.
Jeffery Youmans is currently serving a five-year sentence for manslaughter and the OPP’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad believes he’s headed to the Sudbury area.
The 43-year-old convict is wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant for breaching his parole. He’s described as:
- Six feet, two inches tall
- 190 pounds
- Blue eyes and red hair
- He has several tattoos, including a tear drop under his left eye
Police are urging the public to exercise caution if Youmans is spotted.
