Whitney Houston’s funeral to be broadcast live online

Whitney Houston’s funeral will not be as quiet as was originally planned.

After choosing to have a private funeral at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J. Saturday, the superstar’s family is now making a concession.

Houston’s publicist, Kristen Foster, announced Wednesday The Associated Press will be allowed a camera at the funeral. AP will stream the service here.

There’s also talk the feed could be broadcast on television, but that hasn’t been confirmed.

In a special tribute to Houston, Oprah will air a two-hour special on OWN called, Remembering Whitney, featuring a 2009 interview which touches on the singer’s history of drug abuse.
