A man in his late teens is being treated for a gunshot wound, after violence broke out in a North Etobicoke neighbourhood Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Tandridge Crescent, in the Albion Road and Islington area shortly after 4 p.m.
Officials tell CityNews the victim, 18, was shot in the arm, and has non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Numerous suspects were seen fleeing from the area in a small, dark coloured vehicle.
This isn’t the first time gunfire has rang out on Tandridge Crescent.
A 23-year-old man was shot in the leg on Feb. 9 of this year. Two men, Abdullah Abdullahi, 24, and Mohamud Duale, 20, are facing a combined 31 counts in connection with the incident, including weapons dangerous, carrying a concealed weapon, armed robbery and disguise with intent.
