The morning commute was more challenging than usual Wednesday morning because of icy roads in the GTA.
Police shut down Highway 48 for about an hour between Vivian and Aurora roads north of the city.
And the overnight drizzle also created slick driving conditions on Highway 404 north of Aurora and north of Highway 427 and Steeles Avenue.
The problem is expected to improve as temperatures rise later in the day.
A high of 5 C is forecast for Toronto.
