The Canadian Border Services Agency is investigating a possible chemical spill at Pearson International Airport.
Emergency crews were called to the airport around 3:30 p.m. Friday.
It was either a chemical spill or a worker was exposed to a chemical, Lorrie McKee, director of public affairs and communications at Pearson, told Citynews.
The incident happened in Cargo 3, McKee said, but couldn’t say what type of chemical it was or how the incident occurred.
One person was taken to hospital, but the injuries are not believed to be serious.
