‘Canada’s Got Talent’ hits Vancouver, Halifax

On Sunday night, the Canada’s Got Talent team went coast-to-coast, visiting Vancouver and Halifax in back-to-back episodes.

Fan favourite Ivan Daigle “knocked the socks off the entire audience” with a song about Alhzeimer’s, host Dina Pugliese said.

The Halifax-based singer played guitar and sang Raymond, a song about a woman who is living with Alzheimer’s, and a man who takes care of her.

“To address this in song was amazing,” Pugliese said.

Check out Daigle’s performance, and a few others, in the video.

Contestants are competing for a grand prize that includes $100,000, a Nissan GTR worth $105,000, a Las Vegas show, and appearance at the Citytv New Year’s Eve bash.
