Disney has unveiled the sequel to its popular Epic Mickey drawing game.
Epic Mickey: The Power of Two, sees Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit return to Wasteland, a home for forgotten Disney characters. In the first game, Oswald had replaced all statues of Mickey with shrines to himself.
Gamers can play as Mickey or, for the first time ever, as Oswald. Oswald first appeared in a 1927 Disney cartoon, and was the main character in Epic Mickey.
“In the first Disney Epic Mickey title, fans embraced Mickey as a true video game hero and welcomed Oswald back into the Disney family with open arms,” John Pleasants, co-president of Disney Interactive Media Group, said in a statement.
Players use a stylus to trace or paint items as they appear on screen. The better they draw, the better they do.
Gamers can also play together, using either Mickey’s paint brush or Oswald’s remote control, which can command electricity.
The game will be released in fall 2012.
