Riverdance makes final stop in Toronto later this month

Torontonians will have one final chance to check out the Irish sensation Riverdance when the company performs at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts later this month.

The three-day, four-show Toronto run will mark the seventh time Riverdance has played in the city. The show has been touring the world since 1995, performing for an estimated 22 million people.

The Toronto Riverdance shows happen April 19-21.

The show, which features traditional dance and music from the Emerald Isle, is also making final stops in London, Ont., Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal, Fredericton and Sydney, N.S., before ending its North American run for good.
