McDonald’s Canada has launched a massive hiring blitz to fill thousands of jobs at its restaurants across the country.
The fast-food chain is holding its second annual National Hiring Day on Wednesday for 4,500 full- and part-time workers in its 1,400 restaurants.
“At McDonald’s Canada, we want to give employees the skills needed to go from the crew room to the boardroom,” said the company’s chief people officer Len Jillard.
“National Hiring Day gives us the chance to show potential employees what makes McDonald’s a great place to work, for a year or a career.”
Jillard and McDonald’s Canada CEO John Betts both started their careers behind the counter.
Aspiring fry cooks can hand in their resumes in person at their local restaurant or apply on line at McDonalds.ca.
