Jason Segel opens up about dating Michelle Williams

Jason Segel is being a perfect gentleman about his new romance with Michelle Williams. Now that their relationship has gone public, the actor has had to field questions about the Academy Award nominee.
The comedic actor, 32, finally broke his silence when Extra asked about his future with the My Week With Marilyn star, 31.
“I think we would just very much like to be happy. That’s all I’m going to say about it,” the actor said while promoting his upcoming comedy, The Five-Year Engagement, with costar Emily Blunt.
Blunt herself gushed about Segel’s recent transformation: “He’s a man-boy! He used to be a boy-boy and now he’s a man-boy.”
Joked Segel: “I think I might even be becoming a man-man… potentially!”
Self-deprecating humour aside, insiders tell Us Weekly that the funnyman has been much more mature since he started dating Williams. A source said he “has been trying to be more of a grown-up lately” to show his “commitment” to the single mother to 6-year-old Matilda.
“He is taking care of himself more, exercising, eating right and dressing better. Basically, not acting like a frat boy anymore.”
Friends for many years via Williams’ best friend Busy Phillips, who has known Segel since they starred in the short-lived Judd Apatow series Freaks and Geeks, the couple’s relationship seems to have developed seemingly out of nowhere.
It “kind of happened overnight!” a source says.
