Danforth Tech remains closed after fire

It’s another unsettled week for students at Danforth Collegiate & Technical Institute.
The school remains closed because of last Wednesday’s fire, which police now believe was arson.
The Toronto District School Board said students will attend classes at Eastern Commerce Collegiate and Monarch Park Collegiate. They will run from 8:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday to Thursday. Click here for the latest updates.
Special education students will be bused to Eastdale Collegiate & Vocational Institute beginning Tuesday.
The school board said students can retrieve items from their lockers from Danforth Tech on Thursday. Grade 11 and 12 students will be permitted entrance to the north gym at 1 p.m. Grade 9 and 10 students will be permitted entrance at 2 p.m.
