Gerrard Street address among Toronto police raids

Toronto police officers descended on eight buildings around the city Tuesday morning, arresting seven men — two of whom are allegedly members of the Vagabonds motorcycle gang.

Officers allegedly seized 2 kilograms of cocaine, worth $76,000, and marijuana, from a one-storey building at 1966 Gerrard Street East, near Woodbine Avenue, around 6 a.m.

Const. Wendy Drummond confirmed the biker enforcement unit, emergency task force, guns and gangs unit and the drug squad were involved.

Joel Stevenson, 35; Shane Chaisson, 29; Victor Caster, 36; Chad Little, 27; Michael Neil Bovaconti, 36; Christopher Campbell, 43; and Tim Stewart, 67, were arrested and appeared in court Tuesday.
