Mother & daughter sent to hospital after North York fire

A mother and daughter are expected to be OK following a fire near Jane and Finch that sent the pair to hospital.
Several people were forced out of their units after flames broke out at an apartment building on San Romanow Way around 1:30 a.m. Friday.
The two-alarm fire is believed to have started on the 21st or 22nd floor and was contained to just one unit. The mother and daughter were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation.
The damage is said to be heavy and the cause is not believed to be suspicious.
