More than 15,000 luxury hotel items worth an estimated $10-million from the legendary Four Seasons Hotel at Avenue Road and Yorkville Avenue are being auctioned off.
The auction began 9 a.m. Thursday and ends Saturday. Click here for auction details.
The items include the signature old-world iron gates from the restaurant Truffles, as well as the regency ballroom’s double-height doors, wood panelling, ornate mirrors and century-old chandeliers. The tapestry on the 32nd floor, which has been a backdrop for many milestone photographs, will also be up for auction.
Those looking to take home memories of Sunday brunch and TIFF celebrity sightings can also make an offer on the Avenue Bar’s famous 20-foot onyx bar or any of the Italian and French handmade furniture.
The public preview took place May 29-30.
The 35-year-old Four Seasons Hotel, located at 21 Avenue Rd., closed its doors on March 28, in anticipation of the grand opening at a new location at 60 Yorkville Ave. It’s set to open sometime this summer.
The new location will feature a 30,000-square-foot luxury spa, glass-enclosed event rooms and a cafe and bar operated by international chef Daniel Boulud.
