Husband in double murder worked at Blue Mountain resort

A man found dead, along with his wife worked at Blue Mountain Resorts Ltd in Collingwood.
The OPP confirmed the bodies of Michael Rogers, 56, and Kathryn Rogers, 55, were found on Kitzbuhl Crescent on Wednesday.
The husband was a manager at Blue Mountain Resorts.
“We are deeply saddened and shocked by this information,” Blue Mountain president and COO Dan Skelton said in a release.
“Michael was a committed member of the Blue Mountain family for more than two and a half years and was a manager in our homeowner services department. In his role he touched employees across the resort, and Michael will be dearly missed by all of us.”
The resort is providing grief counseling to employees and guests, Skelton added.
Police have released few details about the crime, but did confirm Friday it was a double homicide. They were called to the home over a missing -persons report.
The OPP are investigating.
