In this heart-warming video, a two-year-old boy hears his mother’s voice for the first time.
Cooper, who was born deaf, received cochlear implants.
In the video, Cooper is shown with only one cochlear implant. That’s because hearing can be so overwhelming, his mother explains in the YouTube comments, doctors often only do one ear at a time – especially on young patients.
His joy at hearing his mother – and even the doctor – is infectious. Check out Cooper’s reaction in the video.
