Toronto roads closed this weekend for food, music events

Music fans and food-lovers will mingle during festivals on Toronto streets this weekend, and a number of roads will be closed as a result.

Taste of Little Italy (Friday – Sunday)

  • Friday at 6 p.m. to Monday at 1 a.m.
  • College Street, between Bathurst and Shaw
  • Grace Street, between Harbord and College
  • Manning Avenue, between Ulster and College
  • Grace Street, between Harbord and College

There will be no TTC streetcar service on College from Bathurst to Shaw from Friday at 6 p.m. until Monday at 3 a.m.

MuchMusic Video Awards (Friday – Monday)

  • John Street, from Queen to Richmond, until Monday at noon.
  • Queen Street West, between McCaul and Beverley, from Friday at 7 p.m. until Saturday at 3 a.m.
  • Queen, from McCaul to Beverley, on Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight and from Sunday at 8 a.m. to Monday at 4 a.m.

North by Northeast Music Festival (Saturday)

  • Yonge Street, from Gerrard to Queen, between 6 p.m. and midnight.
  • The Yonge and Shuter intersection will stay open to allow access to the Eaton Centre parking lot
  • Dundas Square Street, from Yonge to O’Keefe Lane

Highland Creek Heritage Festival and Parade (Saturday)

  • Old Kingston Road, from Kingston to Watson, from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Morrish Road from Kingston to Bush Gate, from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Centennial Road, from Cherrydale Court to Lawson, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Yorkville Exotic Car Show (Sunday)

  • Bloor Street, from Avenue Road to Bay, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
