Justin Bieber performs surprise New York City concert

Justin Bieber brought his “All Around The World Tour” to a close with a surprise concert at New York’s Apollo Theater in Harlem.

Fans of all ages lined the streets in anticipation of the show. The so-called surprise concert was officially  announced on Monday morning, however, fan Paula Popok used clues given out by Beiber’s manager, Scooter Braum, to ensure she would be first in line.

“We got here at like 2 a.m. and then slept on the street until they let us in at like 7 a.m,” said the 15-year-old.

The appearance of Bieber’s security guard Kenny Hamilton sent fans into a frenzy, helping them realize that their dream of seeing Bieber was right around the corner.

Thirteen-year-old Angelica Ramon broke into tears when trying to tell reporters how excited she was to see Bieber for the first time.

“Oh my God, it is so amazing, like, I can’t even express my feelings,” she said before crying.

Fudha Al Abdulraaq, 15, and her family flew in from Kuwait just for the concert and said Bieber is her inspiration.

“In every single way he is amazing. He came from a small town in Canada, then all the way to where he is right now, like, the biggest star in the universe,” she said.

For 19-year-old fan Natalia Rosa, the opportunity to see Bieber has been a long time coming.

“I’ve been waiting for this for almost four years. I’ve never seen him – don’t get emotional again, please. I’ve never seen him before and so like, he’s just amazing in every single way, shape and form possible,” said Rosa.

The 18-year-old singer hit nine cities in seven countries for this tour, performing free concerts and meeting fans over the two-week period. Footage from his journey will be aired as a special on U.S. television network NBC on June 21.

Bieber’s second album Believe hits U.S. stores on June 19.
