2 in hospital after Lawrence and Markham stabbing

Two men are in hospital after a fight broke out near Lawrence Avenue and Markham Road later Friday night.
Toronto police said the men began fighting just before midnight.
One victim, believed to be in his 40s, was stabbed in a parking lot at 3420 Lawrence Ave. East. He was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.
The other man is also in hospital and is under police custody.
Police are looking for witnesses.
