Boy killed in QEW crash near Grimsby

An 11-year-old boy was killed in a crash on the Toronto-bound QEW near Grimsby on Tuesday morning.
Two other people were taken to hospital in critical condition after a van rolled around 3 a.m. at Mountainview Road. There were nine people in the van at the time.
The six other people in the vehicle were also taken to hospital but the extent of their injuries isn’t known. Several people in the van were ejected.
Police closed the Toronto-bound lanes of the QEW at Ontario Street for the investigation. But the lanes have since reopened.
Investigators are now looking for a white Volvo tractor-trailer they believe may have rear-ended the van and caused it to roll.
