Man, 30, accused of 2006 sex assault of boy

A 30-year-old man has been charged six years after he allegedly sexually assaulted a boy in Toronto.

Marcel Lawson reportedly met with the then 11 year old and assaulted him three separate times in the summer of 2006 after befriending him online.

One of the incidents allegedly happened near the Christie Pits pool, at Bloor Street West and Christie Street.

Police said there may be more victims.

Lawson — who went by the aliases Marc William Desjarlais, Adam Lawson, Marc Lawson, Matthew Stone and Alex Young — was arrested on Monday and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and assault with intent to resist arrest.

He appeared in an Old City Hall courtroom on Tuesday.
