Snoop Dogg banned from Norway for 2 years

American rapper Snoop Dogg has been banned from entering Norway for two years, after he allegedly tried to enter the country with a small amount of marijuana, his attorney said.

Snoop will not appeal the ruling and can “live with the decision,” according to his attorney.

Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, was reportedly on his way to a music festival in Norway in June when sniffer dogs detected marijuana.

He was found to be carrying eight grams of marijuana as well more cash than is legally allowed.

He was fined $8,600 after admitting to the two offences, according to his lawyer.
